I think that is rubbish, especially when the first owners paid so much for it. That's why I want to stick out waiting for the xperia x1, at least I know Sony Ericcson is usually pretty good about repairing their models. This aside however, it seems like any major phone has something that will drive you crazy, becuase everyone rushes to get it out. Everything Apple always seems to have a bug of flaw, Sony Ericcson's Xperia X1 was crashing itself due to the configuration of Windows Mobile, etc. I am just waiting to see how the Android messes up! I would rather these companies wait a bit and test their phones before they rush them out, because they are so expensive it really stinks to find out after you have spent your money!
