There is no competition within the wirless industry in Canada; it is the exact same thing as Air Canada and WestJet - they keep each other in the loop so they all get a peice of the pie.

Now if real competition was to come to Canada, it would spell the end of the big 3 and that is because they are scammers. It's common knowledge that we pay some of the highest prices for cell service in the world (top 5) and there is no reason for that at all.....unless the technology that Rogers, Bell and TELUS use is that old.....

That is true but I think it will be offset by the competition. Like we see in the states, there are the big carriers but also a lot of local ones. However I dont know if there is enough little ones to be able to do it. What I mean is Canada is so wide open between cities it takes a lot of money for infrastructure for nothing. Like in Alberta for instance you can do Calgary and Edmonton but is there enough between the 2 to make it profitable? where as in the States there is enough between New York and say Philadelphia to make it profitable.

While having more competition is going to be a very good thing, having so many more regional carriers isn't such a good thing. For one it will mean a return to paying roaming fees while traveling.

Come on, you see knocks on drunk Irish, loose cannon Scotish, and pompus English people, to name a few, all the time. Heck you even have a holiday in regards to DRUNK BEER DRINKING IRISH! WHY! Because they don't fight it, they laugh at it.

Get over it. If they are thinking this is a knock to them they need to take a chill pill and look in the mirror. While we all tolerate, and laugh at, our own idiosyncrosies they are crying about being abused.

When the people that have an issue and they get over it so will everyone else.

I had this phone for two weeks and the glass managed to get scratched up badly one day when it was in my pocket with a coin - shouldn't have happened. I was pretty upset, and Rogers (via Samsung) told me it would be $75 to get it fixed. Got it back and now it doesn't feel right, it's a little loose.

It's too bad I've had these problems because it otherwise is a great phone - Rogers doesn't promote it at all and I love the fact that it's a rarity. Just be careful with the glass.

it seems like a lot of phones are going to that flat keypad design. Some of my customers are blind so between that and touch screen they feel left out.

I love the phone. It's sturdy, sleek, easy to use. It has a teriffic PC software bundle, but the only problem is the smal and flat keyboard.
